‘They ain’t done nothing yet’

Everyone has the “Miami Thrice” penciled in as the NBA champions of the upcoming year.
Rajon Rondo simply doesn’t buy into the hype.
“They ain’t done nothing yet,” Rondo said in an interview.
His thoughts are that the combination of Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh might look good on paper but actually playing the game is different.
“They still have to come together as a team. I’m not saying they won’t, but who knows if those guys can jell?”
Rondo’s lack of concern for the newly built Miami Heat also came with his concern for the defending back-to-back champion Los Angeles Lakers.
Rightfully so. The Lakers have used the off-season to strengthen their defense by acquiring Matt Barnes and also kept the core of the succesful team together in hopes of a run at a three-peat.
What Rondo did was good for his Celtic fans as well as other team’s fans around the NBA. Although the world has the Heat winning the title, NBA players aren’t afraid to go out and prove everyone wrong.
The pressure is on for the Heat to win a championship. Anything else just won’t cut it and the NBA is out to claim the heads of the three-headed monster in Miami.
